Water Slides
Water slides are made for our immense pleasure in water and having tons of fun. As we think about sitting on those long slippery surfaces all that comes to our minds is that we are going to be able to scream our hearts out and no one will think that we are crazy. That is because everyone else is doing the same thing as they slide down their own water slides.
So where can you find these wet and wild rides. I would say that the best place to have water fun is in the various water worlds that have seemed to pop up everywhere. In these parks you will find lots of different water slides of all shapes and sizes. There is your everyday normal water slide where you sit on a water mat and calmly slide down the water filled ramps.
You will find other types of water slides at these places too. For instance there are monster water slides that will slip, slide, loop and toss you in every direction before you are sent whizzing through the air to land in the waiting pool below. You can also find water slides that seem to defy gravity it self.
These unusual water slides start out just like every other water slide. You sit on a water mat and push yourself out into the rushing water ramp and off you go down the ramp. Suddenly without any warning everything that you have learned about water and gravity gets mixed up and instead of going down hill you are rushing up the water ramp.
There are other rides that are full of surprises. Like the ZOOMbabwe. This 102 foot tall water slide is largest of the water slide rides ever recorded. You will be riding in a raft that is going very fast. Sometimes the raft will feel like it is going to fly down the long 887 feet long purple tunnel. You can find the ZOOMbabwe in Santa Claus, Indiana.
Now if you would like you can visit various water parks where you will find many different water slides. For instance there are some water slides that can be found in a place called the Valley of Fear. In this water slide valley you will just have to close your eyes and slip into the Valley of Fear where many water slides are waiting for you.
Water slides as so many people know are one of the best ways that you can have fun and cool off. Many of the theme parks now offer you a great selection of water slides for you to have loads of splashing joy.
